Gorgeous Independent, Assisted Living & Memory Care community in the suburbs northeast of Sacramento, California seeks a professional Sales Director with previous background in Senior Living community relations and census development.

An ideal match for this role must be an experienced Community Relations Director from another senior living setting.

Sales Director Job
The sales director role within a senior living setting is unique. It involves relationship building, overcoming major life concerns, and navigating diplomatic relations between family members before closing any sale! For this reason we are really hoping to identify an experienced candidate for the position.

Part of this role involves developing outside referral sources, be they from Hospital Discharge Planners, area Religious leaders, or providers of Senior Day programs, etc. To build these relationships, the Sales Director will be spending a portion of time in outside sales pursuits.

Another part of the role involves answering calls and getting to know potential new residents and their families, and then guiding them on tours of the property.

Additionally, the Sales Director must develop open and effective working relationships with all other department leaders, to ensure that Dining Services, Maintenance, Clinical Care and other areas of the community are all operating at peak performance in order to show the property at its best and guarantee quick turnaround times when units open up.

Ideal candidates will bring:
  • 2-3 years of Sales experience preferred in Senior Living or Hospitality 
  • Clearly measurable accomplishments in prior sales roles
  • Strong savvy with regards to clear communication, relationship development and time management, and closing the sale
  • Familiarity with the market of the NE suburbs of Sacramento, California a plus
